I finally found the blueberry kombucha!
Happy dance!!! Several months ago I discovered the Wild Tonic line of hard kombucha at Total Wine. They had several flavors but the one I wanted to try - this one - was ALWAYS sold out. Lame! I looked and looked for many trips to Total Wine and finally decided I had to try this jun kombucha even if I couldn't try it in blueberry. (Read my review of the Raspberry Goji Rose version here.)
But the clouds have finally parted and I found the blueberry one!!!!! My stalking skills are finally paying off. My assumption is that because this is the flavor that is always sold out it *must* be the best one. Let's find out.
Here is my official review of the Blueberry Basil Wild Tonic Jun Kombucha:
Yep, the shelf don't lie. The Blueberry Basile Jun Kombucha is fantastic!! I was already a Wild Tonic fan for life after trying the raspberry but this one is even better. I am here for the blueberry! Sometimes flavors can be hard to pick up in kombucha but the blueberry really comes through in this one.
Hard kombucha's are new on the scene so they can be harder to find - and spot inside the store. (Hint: if your store is paying attention, they'll put it in the liquor aisle but I have seen them with the regular kombucha. Maybe it's a small town thing?). I love a good kombucha and I basically have to try every one I find. Kombucha on tap, sign me up. Kombucha tasting at a sketchy Portland art event, yep! I've done it and lived to tell about it. So a boozy kombucha is right up my alley. If you haven't tried one yet, on top of the alcohol content you also get a nice relaxing buzz from the kombucha itself. It is a very pleasant "fuzz" and Wild Tonic does it better than any of the other's I've tried.
This cocktail is perfect for me on nights I want to chill alone at home. (It's not drinking alone if your do is there right???) It's a very relaxing cocktail that will mellow you out in a unique, yogi kinda way. I love it!
One shaker = not sweet at all // Five shakers = your teeth may curl
Kombucha is not typically sweet and this cocktail is no different. It has a tiny bit of sweetness in the blueberry flavor but without this "category" in my reviews, I wouldn't consciously notice it.

This hard kombucha officially rings in at 5.6% ABV. It's not the strongest cocktail in terms of kick but you do get an extra bump from it being kombucha. Personally, I love the peaceful buzz this jun kombucha gives me. It is currently my favorite chill cocktail.
Would I buy this ready to drink cocktail again?
