TGIF cocktail lovers! I'm back this week with the second installment of my DRNXMYTH review. Last week I tried their Classic Margarita and their Cucumber Margarita. Those cocktails were amazing (you can catch up here if you missed those) so I have pretty high expectations for this week's cocktails.
After figuring out that the DRNXMYTH bottles have a cool double chamber design I've been excited to twist open another one. Remember - twist the bottom of the bottle first, then shake it really well to combine the cold-pressed juices with the liquor, then open the top of the bottle and serve. Otherwise you get a full sip of liquor on your first sip. Ask me how I know that. 😜
So without further ado, let's try some more DRNXMYTH cocktails!
DRNXMYTH Bourbon Sour:

This ready-to-drink whiskey sour will blow your mind - even more if you've only ever had whiskey sours using that pre-made mix most bars have. THIS is what a whiskey sour should taste like. It was love at first sip for me! This is such a good cocktail and based on my other DRNXMYTH experiences I'm not surprised they knocked this one out of the park as well.
It is always a little risky to make a pre-made version of a classic cocktail. People already know what they think it should taste like so there is a bar you have to live up to that isn't there with the more creative cocktails. That bar of expectation is no object for DRNXMYTH here. If anything, this bottled version is changing what I think the IRL bar whiskey sours should be.
I'm all in on this Bourbon Sour. 10/10 - every whiskey lover should try this!

DRNXMYTH Peach Inferno:

Woah! I was not expecting this cocktail! (Spoiler alert: I love it!) When I took my first sip I was thinking I was going to taste a fresh peach cocktail which sounded dreamy to me. What I was not expecting was a fiery spice. I very quickly looked at the label again to see what the heck I was drinking and spotted a "jalapeño syrup" that I did not notice before. I try to not look too closely at the labels until after I've had a few sips so that I can enjoy the cocktail without hunting for the flavors mentioned on the label. And I'm really glad I didn't peek this time because it was such a fun surprise.
I know I said this last week about the DRNXMYTH Cucumber Margarita but I'm also obsessed with this Peach Inferno now. I can't believe how much I love these DRNXMYTH cocktails. I feel like I could stop blogging on ready-td-drink cocktails right now and just refer everyone to DRNXMYTH from now on. (I won't but I totally could!)
Please do me, and yourself, a huge favor and try this cocktail if you like spicy things. It is sooooo good!

DRNXMYTH Smoked Watermelon:

Smokey!! And again, I was not expecting that. Similar to the Peach Inferno, the smokiness was the first flavor I tasted as opposed to the watermelon I was expecting. Personally, I don't like smoked flavors - no smoked cheese for this girl - so I never try smoked cocktails even though I know they are all the rage served in their little glass domes of smoke. It's just not my jam. Which makes it hard for me to give you a good review of this cocktail. I tried a few sips and beyond the smoke I did pick up on the spicy honey and basil flavors which I really liked. I don't know if I ever got watermelon from it but I was really distracted by the smokiness.
Either way, I'm scoring this one high because even through smokey cocktails are not my thing I am confident that DRNXMYTH, who has crushed it with every cocktail I've tried, makes a really good smokey cocktail. If you love smokey flavors, definitely order this one ASAP!

Would I buy these again?
Totally! I'm a fan of DRNXMYTH for life after trying five of their cocktails. I am already loading up a shopping cart on their site with my favorite Cucumber Margarita and the Peach Inferno. They have so many cocktails that sound good to me that it is going to be hard to narrow down. Maybe I'll just get them all?
The two I have my eye on the most are their coffee cocktails. I'm thinking of doing a coffee cocktail round-up this Fall. What do you think? I will 100% have to include the DRNXMYTH Mexican Coffee and a Coffee Mint Mojito.
One other thing I want to mention about DRNXMYTH that I think is so fun is that they offer a virtual happy hour service where everyone can pick their own cocktail to have delivered right to their home. What a fun perk to offer your employees or a new experience to share with your friends. I love this idea and can't wait to try it out.
