Ready-to-drink cocktail review: Beatbox Party Punch (Part 2)

Posted by Jaime Fowler on

Review of Beatbox Party Punch Tropical Punch, Fruit Punch, and Peach Punch

Hi cocktail friends! As promised I am back this week with three more Beatbox Party Punches. This week I'm trying the Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, and Peach Punch. I have my fingers crossed for the peach one!

If you missed my first installment of the Beatbox review you can check it out here and also get the background on how these party punches are really more of a flavored wine than a cocktail. I'll skip that soap box this week. ;)

Let's just do this. Onto the drinks!!

Here is my official review of Beatbox's Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, and Peach Punch:

3 out of 5 cocktail shakers

Okay then Beatbox! This week's flavors are better than the one's I tried last week. I really liked both the Tropical Punch and the Peach Punch. Especially the Peach Punch. I would 100% drink that one again.
The Fruit Punch was not my favorite but I do hate all things fruit punch flavored so take that with a grain of salt. Most fruit punch including this one are just too strong, too sweet, and too fake fruit tasting for me. But I'm guessing if you like that bright red Hawaiian fruit punch then you'll like this one from Beatbox too.
So after trying all six flavors, Peach Punch and Tropical Punch are my favorites. I also like the Fresh Watermelon thought I probably wouldn't have it again. If you are in the market for a cheap buzz, definitely think about picking up some Beatboxes!

Sweetness

5 out of 5 cocktail shakers
One shaker = not sweet at all  // Five shakers = your teeth may curl

Still sweet! Especially the Fruit Punch. I didn't notice it as much with the Peach Punch or the Tropical Punch but that could just be because I liked the overall flavors of those.

Same as last week, these have a lot of artificial sweetener in them so if that bugs your stomach like it does mine, you might want to go easy on these.

Booziness

3 out of 5 cocktail shakers
One shaker = does this have booze? Five shakers = OG Four Lokos

The Beatbox party punches officially ring in at 11.1% ABV with 3 full cocktails per bottle. If you drink a whole bottle yourself I'm guessing you'd have a pretty good buzz going. Not bad for a $4 investment if that's your jam.

Would I buy this ready to drink cocktail again?

I probably will not be picking these up again. Like I said last week, I'm just past the party punch stage of my life. However, if I was at an event and Beatbox was one of the only alternatives to beer or wine available, I would 100% reach for a Peach Punch or Tropical Punch.

If you want to try Beatbox Party Punch, you can order them online from Total Wine. Here is a link:

  • I really like these. My children are all in their twenties and are always bringing over alcohol drinks to parties for me and my boyfriend to try. I don’t like all the new seltzers and other new fizzy drinks that have a whipper of what they claim they taste like. If I want flavored water I’ll buy flavored water not a seltzer. However, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the Beatbox’s my daughter brought over recently. They actually taste like something and have actual alcohol involved as well. They are good cold but they also make a great slushy if you place them in the freezer.
