Happy Friday cocktail lovers! This week I'm combining my two favorite things in the whole world - coffee & cocktails. Both of this week's canned cocktails are boozy coffee drinks from Dashfire and I could not be more excited! If you missed it, I tried the other canned cocktails from Dashfire earlier this year and they were soooo good. You can catch up on those reviews here.
I have high expectation for these coffee cocktails based on my past experience with Dashfire so fingers crossed that their Rum Golden Latte and Bourbon Cold Brew Coffee will live up to the rest of the cocktails in the Dashfire canned cocktail line!
As a sidenote, I was super curious about the color of the Rum Golden Latte so I decided to pour both of these coffee cocktails into cute cocktail glasses so we could see the colors. Of course I topped them each with Christmas stocking Swizzly Sticks and then I was ready to sip.
Dashfire Bourbon Cold Brew Coffee:

YEEESSS! This coffee cocktail is exactly what it is called. It is dark cold brew coffee with a kick of bourbon. That's it. It's not sweet. It doesn't have other wild flavors. Just great coffee and bourbon.
It does have a touch of chicory coffee flavor but if your not familiar with the chicory flavor I doubt you'd even notice it. It's not overpowering at all. The same thing is true for the vanilla flavor that is probably from the bourbon. Honestly I doubt I would have noticed either flavor if it wasn't listed on the can. I was too distracted by how yummy this coffee was. But be careful with this one. I could easily see drinking this without realizing how boozy it is.
10/10 - would recommend to a coffee whiskey loving friend

This is the sweet, dessert cocktail I've been craving! It is creamy and sweet and comforting all at once. The flavor isn't overly coffee but it does have that latte vibe to it. The flavor is almost like a sweeter pumpkin spice latte but it has another layer from the turmeric that makes it even more interesting. I can totally see myself curling up on the couch with this cocktail all winter long.
10/10 - would recommend to my dessert cocktail loving friends

Would I buy these again?
For sure! I really liked both of these coffee cocktails for different reasons. I loved the straight to the point coffee and bourbon combo of first one and also the sweet, creamy goodness of the second one.
These ready-to-drink coffee cocktails got me thinking that maybe I should track down all the canned coffee cocktails I can and do a review round-up for all of us that love coffee and cocktails equally. What do you think?
