Let's mix it up with some cocktail mixes
You see what I did there? I crack myself up. Anywho, I've been noticing a lot of interesting and new cocktail mixes popping up so I decided to extend our blog to reviewing those as well.
The beauty of a good cocktail mix is:
1) You can add as much or as little booze as you'd like
2) You can use your favorite liquor or get creative with using say . . . bacon vodka
3) A mix makes it super easy to whip up a BIG batch of cocktails for all your gals
To start us off on our cocktail mix journey, we are tasting the go-to bloody mary mix of many a campsite, tailgate and brunch - Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix. It's been around forever and it's easy to find. You can even get it in small cans so you don't have to open a full bottle.
If you've ever made a big batch of bloody mary from scratch you know it's a real pain. Plus you have to have like 800 ingredients on hand so IMHO a mix is the way to go. But you want the right mix and that is what this blog is all about.
I've decided I'm going to try all of the cocktail mixes straight and with liquor added just to set a good baseline.The Zing Zang bloody mary without booze - winner! With booze - winner winner chicken dinner!

Ummm, delicious!
I have to admit the last time I had a Zing Zang Bloody Mary I was hung over, exhausted and just dirty in that way only attending a festival will get you. I remembering thinking these bloody marys must have been sent down from the gods to save us because it was like a miracle cure.
This time, I decided to try it stone sober - and it was even better than I remembered. This is a seriously good mix with a lot of flavors that make it a super rich experience. This is not a well drink kind of mix. This is more like a bloody mary made by a bartender who secretly has a crush on you.
You must pick this up ASAP. Don't let the kind of ugly packaging detour you. What's inside this bottle is legit!
You know what I'm going to say right? Bloody mary's are not sweet cocktails so this mix is not sweet.
This is a "choose your own adventure" cocktail. This mix is delicious with or without booze so you can't go wrong. Add a little splash of vodka or just keep pouring it in - it's totally up to you.
Would I buy these again?
Heck yeah. This mix will forever be in rotation in my household.
